Tehran Stock Exchange index closes Monday 0.99% higher at 5,052,043 points

The Tehran Stock Exchange main index (TEDPIX) closed Monday, 5 Mordad 1405 (27 July 2026), up 49,713 points, or 0.99 percent, at 5,052,043. The equal weighted index rose 14,864 points in the same session, a gain of 1.07 percent, to 1,408,366. The two indices rising together indicates the advance was not confined to a handful of large index heavyweights.
According to Mehr News Agency, 357 symbols ended the session with buy queues worth 6,914 billion tomans, against just 73 symbols with sell queues worth 1,954 billion tomans. Banking was the most heavily traded sector, with turnover of about 2,279 billion tomans, followed by chemicals and petroleum products. On the same day, 1,294 billion tomans flowed out of fixed income funds.
Data published by Eghtesad Online for the same session show Shepna had the largest positive effect on the main index, while Vabmellat had the largest negative effect.
