Tehran Stock Exchange's main index (TEDPIX) closed today, Sunday, August 16, 2026 (25 Mordad 1405), up 29,608 points, or 0.52 percent, rising from 5,736,626 points on Saturday to 5,766,256 points. According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, more than 3.2 trillion tomans of retail money flowed into the stock market.

Per Sahmino's own recorded trading data, total exchange trading value today exceeded 420,000 billion tomans across 892,231 trades, while the equal-weighted index rose 21,619 points to 1,628,059. On Saturday, August 15, the main index had gained just 141 points, so today's advance marks a notable return to the uptrend of recent weeks on the Tehran market.
