Tehran Stock Exchange Retail Trading Value Tops 39 Trillion Tomans on Saturday; Main Index Reaches 5.736 Million Points

According to statistical data from the Securities and Exchange Organization's exchange oversight department, published by Bourse News, trading value in the retail market and the closing auction (TAL) for stocks and equity funds reached 39,307 billion tomans on Saturday, 24 Mordad 1405 (August 15, 2026). On the same day, combined trading value on the Tehran Stock Exchange and Farabourse reached about 264,000 billion tomans, while the total value of Iran's equity markets (the main board, the base market and Farabourse) reached about 19,336 trillion tomans.

Tehran Stock Exchange's main index closed that day at 5,736,627 points, and the equal weighted index rose 0.1 percent to 1,606,439 points. Farabourse's composite index rose 0.3 percent to 46,056 points, and in that day's closing auction (TAL), 138 symbols traded for a combined 222 billion tomans.
