Türkiye's Scientific and Technological Research Council, known as TUBITAK, has launched new funding and accelerator initiatives for clean technology startups. The stated aim is to help these companies commercialize their products and attract investment ahead of the UN Climate Change Conference in Antalya.
The conference will be held in Antalya from 9 to 20 November 2026. The latest initiatives focus on the second phase of the Global Cleantech Innovation Programme, implemented by TUBITAK in cooperation with the UN Industrial Development Organization and several government ministries.
Applications for this year's two accelerator programs remain open until 3 August 2026. Eligible startups may develop solutions in energy efficiency, renewable energy, waste valorization, water efficiency, green buildings, sustainable transportation, and advanced materials and chemicals. TUBITAK will provide cash awards to the top three teams in each accelerator.
