A report by the research department of Iran's Securities and Exchange Organization shows that turnover in exchange traded funds on Iran's capital market reached 45.5 trillion tomans on Sunday 2 August 2026 (11 Mordad 1405). The report was published by the Iran capital market news agency SENA.
According to the report, about 30.2 trillion tomans of that total came from fixed income funds, about 9.7 trillion tomans from commodity funds and about 6 trillion tomans from equity and mixed funds. Retail money entering the fund market on the same day was around 200 billion tomans.
The large share taken by fixed income funds indicates that most liquidity circulating through Iran's fund market still flows into low risk instruments, while commodity funds based on gold and silver were the second most heavily traded group.
