World gold jumped 1.48 percent, or $60.25, to $4,143.59 an ounce on Friday, July 10, 2026 (19 Tir 1405), according to Yahoo Finance. Gold had spent most of the week declining as renewed US Iran military conflict rattled markets, but safe haven demand returned as investors weighed the war's impact on inflation and future Federal Reserve decisions. Oil prices have risen roughly 7.1 percent over the past five days, adding to inflation concerns. Iranian financial outlets including Taadol newspaper and EcoIran also reported the world gold ounce near $4,120 on the same day.
