Trading in the ticker Daroand, belonging to Zist Arvand Pharmed, part of the Cinnagen pharmaceutical group, opened on the Tehran Stock Exchange on Wednesday, September 9, 2026 (18 Shahrivar 1405), making it the market's 41st pharmaceutical sector ticker. According to Ecoiran, Daroand's estimated final valuation was put at 7,393 billion tomans. The company's sales, about 117 billion tomans in the Iranian year 1399 (2020 to 2021), rose to more than 2,000 billion tomans in 1404 (2025 to 2026), and sales in the first five months of the current year 1405 have already surpassed all of last year's total. Iran's listed pharmaceutical sector previously comprised 40 tickers with a combined market value of about 568,000 billion tomans as of the end of Mordad (late August). Daroand produces chemical drugs, specialty supplements and herbal products under more than 150 manufacturing licenses and has been designated a knowledge based technology company.
