153rd Gold Bullion Auction to Be Held at Iran's Currency Exchange Center on August 18

Iran's Currency Exchange Center will hold its 153rd gold bullion auction on Tuesday, 27 Mordad 1405 (August 18, 2026). According to EcoIran, citing the Currency Exchange Center, the registration deadline for applicants runs until midnight tonight, Monday, 26 Mordad 1405 (August 17, 2026).
Under the announced terms, each applicant must deposit 50 billion rials (5 billion tomans) in guarantee funds per gold bar and must hold a valid business license registered on Iran's National Licensing Portal. Eligible buyer categories include wholesale gold bullion sellers, gold jewelry manufacturers, melted gold retailers, and online melted gold and jewelry platforms. Each buyer may purchase a maximum of 25 gold bars per calendar week.
