Global Gold Hits $4,391 as Gold and Coin Prices Ease in Tehran Market Today

Tehran's Gold and Jewelry Union announced today's gold and coin prices for Monday, 26 Mordad 1405 (August 17, 2026). According to Ecoiran, the global gold ounce rose to 4,391 dollars, while domestic prices eased: the mesghal price fell to 82,420,000 tomans, 18 karat gold to 19,026,800 tomans a gram, and 24 karat gold to 25,366,000 tomans a gram. Live data from TGJU separately confirmed the global gold ounce's rise to about 4,391 dollars, a gain of about 0.35 percent.
In the coin market, the new design (Emami) coin fell to 188,700,000 tomans and the old design (Bahar Azadi) coin to 186,700,000 tomans. The half coin was priced at 95,800,000 tomans, the quarter coin at 52,000,000 tomans and the gram coin at 27,000,000 tomans; all figures were down from the previous day.
