154th Gold Bullion Auction Set for Tuesday, Shahrivar 3, at Iran's Exchange Center

Iran's Currency and Gold Exchange Center announced its 154th gold bullion auction will be held for gold industry participants on Tuesday, Shahrivar 3, 1405 (August 25, 2026). According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, citing the Young Journalists Club, applicants have until midnight tonight, Monday, Shahrivar 2 (August 24), to register. Participation terms include a deposit of 50 billion rials (5 billion tomans) per bar, a valid business license registered on the National Licensing Portal, and compliance with the Exchange Center's directive No. 10. Eligible buyer categories are wholesale gold bullion sellers, gold jewelry manufacturers, melted gold retailers, and online melted gold and jewelry platforms; each buyer may purchase a maximum of 25 gold bars per calendar week.
