Iran's domestic gold and coin market rose on Wednesday, 15 July 2026 (24 Tir 1405). A gram of 18-karat gold opened trading near 17.9 million tomans and climbed to about 18.2 million tomans by midday, up roughly 1.8 percent from the previous day. The full Emami coin gained about 1.7 percent to around 184 million tomans, and its premium (bubble) widened to nearly 7 million tomans.
The main driver was the weakening rial and the free-market dollar's rise to a one-month high, while the global gold ounce hovered around 4,050 dollars.
