Around 4.7 trillion tomans (4,700 billion tomans) in net retail money flowed into Tehran's stock market on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 (8 Mehr 1405), the final trading day of Mehr's first week, Mehr News Agency reported. Sahmino's own data shows Tehran's main index (TEDPIX) rose 171,580 points that day to close at 7,766,537.65, a record that pushed the index above the 7.7 million mark for the first time. Trading value on the Tehran Stock Exchange that day exceeded 40.6 trillion tomans.
