2 September 2026 | 2 months ago
Iranian media reported that US missile strikes overnight between Tuesday, September 1, and Wednesday, September 2, 2026 (10 to 11 Shahrivar 1405) hit three locations in Iran's Khuzestan province, leaving 7 dead and 8 wounded. Full details on the identities of the victims and the exact strike locations have not yet been released by local officials.
The strikes are part of a broader escalation of US attacks inside Iran following the resumption of military hostilities between the two countries in recent days, coinciding with a separate strike on a wedding ceremony in Sirik, Hormozgan, and other strikes along Iran's southern coast including Konarak, Bandar Abbas, Jask, Asaluyeh and Qeshm Island.
