Iran's Revolutionary Guard said in a statement early Wednesday, September 2, 2026 (11 Shahrivar 1405), that it had struck the Prince Hassan base in Jordan, which houses US drones, with missiles and destroyed a number of them. Separately, Donya e Eqtesad reported additional missile and drone strikes on US bases in Erbil, Iraq, with several explosions heard in the city.
Al Jazeera, citing the US military, reported that Washington denied its bases in Jordan had been hit, though it confirmed carrying out new strikes on targets inside Iran. No independent report confirming Iran's claim about the Jordan strike had been published as of this writing.
