American Express Reports Q2 2026 EPS of $4.53; Raises Revenue Outlook

American Express reported its second-quarter 2026 results (for the quarter ended June) on Friday, 24 July 2026. Diluted earnings per share came in at $4.53, up 11% from $4.08 a year earlier, while revenue rose 10% to $19.64 billion from $17.86 billion. Net income was $3.11 billion.

EPS beat analyst estimates, though revenue came in slightly below expectations. Cardmember spending reached a three-year high. The company raised its full-year revenue-growth outlook to 10% and kept its EPS forecast in the $17.30 to $17.90 range.
