Apple shares fall more than 6% as services revenue misses despite a 22% jump in iPhone sales

Apple shares fell more than 6% in after-hours trading on Thursday, 30 July 2026 (8 Mordad 1405). According to Trading Economics, the decline followed services revenue that came in below expectations.
Apple reported total fiscal third-quarter revenue above analysts' estimates, with iPhone sales up 22% over the period. The market nonetheless reacted negatively to the shortfall in the services segment.
In Thursday's regular session Apple had closed down 1.41% at $333.43. At that level the company's market value stands at about $4.88 trillion. Apple had touched the $5 trillion mark intraday for the first time on Tuesday, 28 July 2026 (6 Mordad).
