According to Donya-e-Eqtesad, citing Shafaqna, published at 3:00 a.m. Friday, August 21, 2026, round 186 of the monthly cash subsidy for Mordad, at 300,000 tomans per person, was deposited and made available to withdraw for heads of household in income deciles four through nine. Iran's Subsidy Targeting Organization said the amount was paid net of any loan installments owed by recipients.
This payment is separate from the subsidy for deciles one through three, which was deposited earlier, on the 25th of Mordad, at 400,000 tomans per person. Young Journalists Club also carried the same deposit under the headline "Round 186 Mordad cash subsidy deposited to heads of household in deciles four through nine," independently confirming the payment.
