Bitcoin around $64,000, some 45 percent below its level a year ago

According to Fortune, Bitcoin was priced at $64,363 at 5:15 a.m. Eastern Time on Wednesday 29 July 2026, up $955 from the previous morning, when it stood at $63,408, a gain of 1.5 percent. That level is 8.85 percent above where it traded a month earlier ($59,128) and 45.42 percent below its level a year earlier ($117,940).
Fortune reported Bitcoin's market capitalisation at about $1.33 trillion and Ethereum's at roughly $233 billion. The price level was recorded after the Federal Reserve's decision on Wednesday 29 July to hold interest rates steady.
In the Iranian market, the Arzdigital site put the price of Tether at about 193,409 tomans on Thursday 30 July 2026. On the same day it reported the crypto market's fear and greed index at 35, in fear territory, the total crypto market capitalisation at about $2.18 trillion, and Bitcoin's share of the total market at around 58.8 percent.
