Bitcoin ETFs Draw $853.5 Million in Weekly Inflows, Strongest Since Mid-April; BlackRock's IBIT Takes the Bulk

According to CoinDesk, citing data from SoSoValue, US spot bitcoin ETFs recorded $853.54 million in net inflows for the week ended Friday, August 7, 2026 (16 Mordad 1405), the largest weekly total since mid-April. BlackRock's IBIT fund alone attracted $693 million of that total, about 81 percent of all inflows.
Per CoinDesk, bitcoin held steady around $64,000 early in the week and traded near $65,100 at the time of the report. Bitcoin ETFs remain roughly $4.5 billion in net outflows on a year-to-date basis. A weaker than expected July US jobs report has cooled bets on a Federal Reserve rate hike, which CoinDesk said could clear the path for continued institutional buying. Market focus now turns to the US July CPI report due August 12 (22 Mordad).
