Bitcoin Held Near $65,000 on Friday as Spot Bitcoin ETFs Saw $225 Million in Outflows
24 July 2026 | 3 months ago
Bitcoin held near $65,000 on Friday, 24 July 2026, trading in a range of roughly $64,000 to $65,800, as the surge in oil prices failed to rattle the market. US spot bitcoin ETFs recorded a combined $225 million in net outflows on Thursday, 23 July, ending a seven-day inflow streak; BlackRock's IBIT led with $202.5 million of redemptions.
A climb in US Treasury yields to their highest in about 18 months, together with the oil spike and new tariffs lifting inflation expectations, pulled institutional investors away from riskier assets. Ether traded near $1,900 on Friday, and spot ether ETFs added $26 million, bucking bitcoin's outflows.
