According to Ecoiran, Central Bank of Iran Governor Abdolnasser Hemmati told the 36th Islamic Banking Conference, held on 10 Shahrivar 1405 (September 1, 2026), that more than 4,000 trillion tomans in facilities have been disbursed to various parts of the economy since the start of the Iranian year, of which 2,650 trillion tomans went to productive sectors. The conference emphasized financing through GAM notes and factoring as ways to contain the inflationary effects of liquidity growth.
In a separate analysis citing Mordad month inflation data, Ecoiran wrote that annual inflation could stand above 80 percent by the end of 1405 (March 2027), with point to point inflation around 64 percent, and that if average monthly inflation approaches 6 percent, overall goods and services inflation could reach triple digits by year end. This projection is Ecoiran's own estimate and analysis, not an official Central Bank figure.
