According to Ecoiran, a Central Bank of Iran report shows that financing extended to businesses through new supply chain financing instruments topped 117 hemat (117 trillion tomans) in the first four months of the Iranian year 1405 (late March to late July 2026).
The figure marks more than a 14 fold increase from 8.2 trillion tomans recorded in the same period of the previous year, 1404, reflecting a sharp rise in the use of alternative financing tools in place of conventional bank loans for working capital.
