According to EcoIran, citing Al Jazeera, the remarks came as Iranian Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi arrived in Beijing and met his Chinese counterpart. A day earlier, Chinese foreign ministry spokesperson Guo Jiakun had told the ministry's weekly briefing that Beijing is following the situation in West Asia and the Persian Gulf and hopes the parties involved resolve their differences through political and diplomatic means.
