Delta Air Lines beats on quarterly profit and reaffirms its full-year outlook

Delta Air Lines on Friday, 10 July reported second-quarter 2026 adjusted earnings of 1.56 dollars per share on adjusted revenue of 17.7 billion dollars, topping the 1.48 dollar analyst estimate. Despite the highest quarterly fuel bill in its history (an average of 3.93 dollars per gallon, up 75 percent from a year earlier), Delta reaffirmed full-year adjusted earnings guidance of 6.50 to 7.50 dollars. Delta traditionally kicks off the US corporate earnings season.
