Energy Exchange Raises Base Price of Imported Premium Gasoline to 89,700 Tomans for August 28 Trading

Iran Energy Exchange's domestic ring will host the sale of 240,000 liters of imported premium (super) gasoline in trading on Thursday, August 20, 2026 (28 Mordad 1405), with a base price of 89,700 tomans per liter. According to EcoIran, citing IRNA, data from the oil, gas and energy carriers board set a price floor of 85,215 tomans and a ceiling of 94,185 tomans for the offering.
Per IRNA's report, premium gasoline pricing on the energy exchange has followed a steady upward trend in recent months. The product's first offering, on 2 Azar 1404, was priced at 65,800 tomans per liter; that rose to 72,800 tomans from 14 Bahman 1404 and to 79,800 tomans from 19 Khordad 1405, before settling at 84,600 tomans from 29 Khordad. Eight licensed private companies currently handle distribution of the product nationwide.
