Free Market Dollar Climbs Into the 2,030,000 Rial Channel in Saturday Trading

According to Boursenews, the free market dollar rate in Iran's domestic market rose about 1,000 tomans on Saturday, 7 Shahrivar 1405 (August 29, 2026), compared to Thursday, 5 Shahrivar, moving into the 203,000 toman channel. Per the report, published at 11:48am, the euro, the UAE dirham and other official currencies also posted gains that day.
According to Sahmino's own price system, the upward move continued through the day, with the free market dollar reaching about 204,900 tomans by 3:39pm, up roughly 2.15 percent from the previous day's closing level.
