According to data source's board, the free-market dollar in Tehran reached 261,600 tomans at 11:30 on Wednesday 14 October 2026 (22 Mehr 1405), up 1,100 tomans, or 0.42 percent, from Tuesday. The same board records Tuesday's close at 260,500 tomans, with a low of 257,250 and a high of 262,700 tomans over the previous 24 hours.
Despite today's rebound the dollar is still 1.06 percent lower than a week earlier. The increase follows two consecutive days of falls and does not by itself signal a change in trend. The board displays its 261,600-toman rate based on quotes from cooperating Tehran exchange shops; other boards may show different prices.
