The special headquarters oversight committee for the reconstruction of the National Iranian Gas Company's damaged refineries visited debris clearing and rebuilding work at the South Pars Gas Complex on Thursday, 8 Mordad 1405 (30 July 2026), and urged faster implementation of early production plans before the cold season begins. The Shana report was published at 1:53pm Tehran time.
Moghaddam Biglarian, who heads the committee, said the gas disruption caused by the attacks affected 11 provinces and more than three million household and commercial subscribers, which is why early production schemes at the damaged refineries are among the top priorities of the oil minister and the senior management of the National Iranian Gas Company. He said reconstruction is being carried out using domestic technical capability and that all executive bodies are required to remove obstacles.
Committee members assessed the debris clearing and early production work as satisfactory and said some projects are running ahead of schedule. Zardavian, technical head of the reconstruction working group, stressed the need for synergy between the National Iranian Gas Company and the National Iranian Oil Company to speed the return of these units to production.
