Glassnode: Bitcoin Open Interest Falls by 1,400,000,000 Dollars as Spot Buyers Step In

According to ArzDigital, citing the latest data from on chain analytics firm Glassnode, the value of open bitcoin futures contracts fell by 1,400,000,000 dollars on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 (14 Mehr 1405), dropping from 38,000,000,000 dollars to 36,600,000,000 dollars. At the same time, the Spot Cumulative Volume Delta index swung from negative 102,800,000 dollars to positive 33,200,000 dollars, indicating rising buy pressure in the spot market. Sahmino's own data showed bitcoin trading around 85,631 dollars at the same hours. Glassnode also reported that bitcoin's hot capital share rose from 18.9 percent to 19.5 percent, while long side funding payments climbed from 926,400 dollars to 1,500,000 dollars.
