The global gold price hit its highest level since early June early on Thursday, 29 Mordad 1405 (August 20, 2026), breaking out of a summer lull. According to Arzdigital, gold traded around 4,475 dollars that morning, more than 130 dollars above the prior day's dip, and went on to touch about 4,507 dollars. Analysts attributed the jump to the US Treasury's liquidity support announcement and a simultaneous weakening of the dollar.
Data from Alanchand.com, updated shortly after, showed global gold trading around 4,499.97 dollars. Sahmino's own data recorded the global gold ounce rate at 07:29 Thursday at 4,499.88 dollars, down 0.45% from the prior day, indicating the metal eased slightly after its brief move above the 4,500 dollar level.
