Gold Rebounds From a One-Year Low as Oil Drops; 18-Karat Gram Reaches 25.7 Million Tomans in Tehran
Sahmino Newsroom | 2 November 2026 | 3 days ago
Global gold recovered part of last week's sharp fall on Monday, November 2, 2026 (11 Aban 1405). Spot gold rose 0.7% to $3,905 an ounce, according to Arzdigital, after falling 3.6% at the end of last week to about $3,881, its lowest in a year. A drop of roughly 4% in oil on hopes for a deal to end the war, and easing inflation worries, helped the rebound, while falling technology shares and uncertainty over US interest rates limited it.
Mehr reported the 18-karat gram at 25.703 million tomans in Tehran and the new-design full coin at 263.3 million tomans, with the ounce at $3,901 in the same report.
