According to Ecoiran, citing ISNA, Zahra Behruzazar, the president's deputy for women and family affairs, said on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 (20 Mordad 1405) that the government has raised the ceiling on state-guaranteed bank loans for women in income deciles one through five. She said the government had previously guaranteed loans for women in these deciles who could not provide a guarantor, but the loan ceiling had been low. Behruzazar said the proposal was submitted to the government's economic commission and approved by the cabinet, raising the loan ceiling to the level set annually by the Supreme Employment Council.
