According to a schedule announced by Iran's State Welfare Organization and the Imam Khomeini Relief Committee, payment of the Mordad 1405 monthly stipend for households under their coverage began on Tuesday, August 11, 2026 (20 Mordad 1405). According to Ecoiran, the stipend budget for this year rose 50 percent from last year, with the amount set by household size: 2,100,000 tomans for a one person household, 2,985,000 tomans for two people, 4,200,000 tomans for three, 5,370,000 tomans for four, and 6,570,000 tomans for households of five or more. According to Iran's Targeted Subsidies Organization, Relief Committee funds are first deposited into the organization's own account before being transferred to recipients, so the timing at which the payment appears in individual bank accounts is not the same for everyone.
