Intel reported its second-quarter 2026 results after the US market close on Thursday, 23 July 2026, beating analyst expectations. Revenue rose about 25% year over year to $16.1 billion, against an average market estimate of roughly $14.4 billion. Adjusted earnings per share came in at $0.42, close to double the roughly $0.21 expected, while non-GAAP net income reached $2.2 billion.
The main growth driver was the Data Center and AI segment, whose revenue climbed about 59%. Intel also raised its third-quarter revenue outlook to a midpoint near $16.3 billion. Intel shares rose more than 12% in Thursday after-hours trading. The report has no direct link to Iran's markets, but it signals the pulse of global chip and AI demand.
