According to Bourse News, subscription for the 12th silver investment fund on the Iran Mercantile Exchange, trading under the symbol Silva, which opened on Sunday, 25 Mordad 1405 (August 16, 2026) for a three business day window, closed successfully today, Monday, 26 Mordad 1405 (August 17, 2026), after drawing strong investor demand and raising 200 billion tomans within its first minutes.
The demand came as the global price of silver rose to more than 65.60 dollars an ounce today; silver has faced a global supply deficit for a sixth consecutive year, a trend noted in earlier market reports.
