12th Silver Fund 'Silva' Draws Strong Demand, Raises 200 Billion Tomans in Opening Minutes

Padash Kala Investment Fund, under a license from Iran's Securities and Exchange Organization, began subscription on Sunday, 25 Mordad 1405 (August 16, 2026), for units of its "Kala-ye Padash 1" fund, trading under the ticker "Silva," the 12th silver-backed fund on the Iran Mercantile Exchange. According to Kalakhabar, the exchange's own news outlet, the three-business-day subscription drew strong investor demand, raising 200 billion tomans in the opening minutes of trading alone.
With Silva's launch, the number of active silver funds on the commodity exchange reached 12, joining existing funds including Sian, Noghrat, Plata, Siglo, Noghrefam, Noghrin, Noghran, Noghrabi, Simin, Silver and Noghresa. Secondary trading of Silva's units will begin once the subscription period ends and the fund is formally registered on the exchange's investment fund market.
