Iran Khodro and Saipa Car Prices Edge Down Friday as Currency Market Calms

According to an Eghtesad Online survey of Tehran's car market on Friday, 16 Mordad 1405 (August 7, 2026), easing political risk, growing hope for continued diplomacy, and a calmer currency market pushed the market toward a mild price correction.

Among Iran Khodro products, the Samand Soren Plus XU7P fell 2 million tomans to 1.57 billion tomans; the automatic panorama Peugeot 207 dropped 17 million tomans to 2.58 billion tomans; the automatic Tara V4 fell 30 million tomans to about 2.54 billion tomans; and the automatic Dena Plus eased 5 million tomans to 2.685 billion tomans.

Among Saipa products, the Saina S fell 10 million tomans to 1.24 billion tomans and the Quick S dropped 8 million tomans to 1.187 billion tomans, while the Atlas G and automatic Shahin held steady. Eghtesad Online said the declines remain limited and scattered, with no sign yet of a broad downward trend across the market.
