Iran's car market stayed subdued on Wednesday as the Peugeot 207 Automatic Panorama lost 22 million tomans in two days

Iran's car market saw limited price declines across several Iran Khodro and Saipa models on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, while thin trading volumes and uncertainty over the exchange rate continued to hold back effective demand.
Among Iran Khodro models, the Peugeot 207 Automatic Panorama fell 22 million tomans over two days to 2.658 billion tomans. The Samand Soren Plus XU7P has dropped 20 million tomans since the start of the week to 1.570 billion tomans. The Dena Plus Automatic slipped 1 million tomans to 2.715 billion tomans, while the Tara Automatic V4 was unchanged at 2.577 billion tomans.
At Saipa, the Saina S fell 9 million tomans over two days to 1.254 billion tomans, the Quick S has shed 6 million tomans since the start of the week to 1.195 billion tomans, and the Shahin Automatic lost 1 million tomans to 2.302 billion tomans. The Atlas G was unchanged at around 1.540 billion tomans.
