Iran's car market falls on Monday as Peugeot 207 automatic panorama sheds 17 million and Rana Plus 22 million tomans

Iran's car market on Monday, 27 July 2026 (5 Mordad 1405) continued to face weak trading and soft consumer demand, with most Iran Khodro and Saipa models either falling or holding steady. According to the auto desk of Eghtesad Online, currency swings have had limited effect on car prices in these conditions.
Among Iran Khodro models, the Peugeot 207 automatic panorama fell 17 million tomans to 2.102 billion tomans, the Tara automatic V4 dropped 12 million to 2.578 billion, the Dena Plus automatic lost 13 million to 2.738 billion and the Samand Soren Plus XU7P slipped 4 million to 1.586 billion. The steepest percentage fall was in the Rana Plus, down 22 million tomans or 1.31 percent to 1.658 billion.
Among Saipa models, the Saina S fell 10 million tomans to 1.275 billion, the Shahin automatic G dropped 5 million to 2.273 billion and the Quick S lost 4 million to 1.207 billion. The dual fuel Saina fell 1.47 percent, or 20 million tomans, to 1.345 billion, while the Atlas G was unchanged at 1.560 billion tomans.
