Iran Khodro Raises Vehicle Prices From Today

3 September 2026 · last month

According to Bourse News, Iran Khodro said in a notice that consumer prices for its products are rising from today, Thursday, September 3, 2026 (12 Shahrivar 1405), due to higher costs for vehicle scrappage certificates and registration. The change follows an amended Article 10 regulation of the auto industry organization law and higher plate registration fees.

Under the notice, buyers must pay the price difference before an invoice or plate can be issued, and no invoice or registration will be processed without that payment. Vehicles pending since 11 Shahrivar 1405 will be calculated using a 35 million toman scrappage certificate value. Buyers replacing scrapped vehicles accepted from 22 Ordibehesht 1405 onward will also fall under the new price schedule.
