Iran launches a centralised complaints system for the capital market
26 July 2026 · 3 months ago
A new complaints system for Iran's capital market was launched on Sunday, 26 July 2026. Its stated purpose is to centralise the filing, review and handling of complaints from shareholders and market participants in a single portal.
According to the announcement, investors can file complaints at newshekayat.seo.ir and track the progress of their case through the same channel.
Until now, complaints against financial institutions, brokerages and listed issuers were filed through scattered channels. Consolidating the process matters for the Tehran stock market, since the transparency and speed of complaint handling is one of the factors underpinning retail shareholders' confidence in the market. The Tehran Stock Exchange main index rose about 107,000 points the same day, returning above the 5 million level.
