Mapna Asaluyeh Power Generation said in a filing published on Sunday, 18 October 2026 that under an Energy Ministry directive, the fuel rate for plants selling into the wholesale electricity market and the exchange's ordinary board will rise on 23 October 2026 from 2,700 to 12,830 rials per cubic-metre fuel unit, including tax and duties. Other listed generators filed the new rate separately. The grid operator must revise the wholesale energy price cap to reflect fuel costs; the net earnings effect remains to be reported in production and financial statements.
