Iran Sets Subscription Record as Silver Fund 'Yas' Draws 1,000 Billion Tomans in Seconds

The Yas silver investment fund, the 11th fund launched by investment advisory firm Toranj, drew 1,000 billion tomans during its subscription on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 (28 Mordad 1405), the highest amount ever raised in a silver fund subscription in Iran. According to Bourse News, subscription opened at 11:45 am and hit its ceiling within seconds on strong demand from retail investors, who accounted for 83 percent of participation, while total demand registered for the offering exceeded 2,600 billion tomans.
Secondary trading of the Yas fund is set to begin soon, giving investors who could not buy in during the subscription a chance to invest. Toranj previously launched funds including the Afaran fixed income fund, the Narenj leveraged fund and the Rose Toranj gold fund.
