Iran Telecom overhauls fiber-optic internet tariffs from July 11; revenue impact seen below 10%
11 July 2026 · 3 months ago
Iran Telecommunication Company (ticker: Akhabar) said it has restructured the tariffs for its high-speed fiber-optic internet services, with the new rates taking effect on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
In a clarification issued after speculation about a fixed-internet price hike, the company stressed that the changes fall solely within a broadband tariff-restructuring framework. Based on an initial estimate, and given the current subscriber mix and the gradual rollout, average monthly revenue for this segment is expected to rise by less than 10 percent.
