Iran Telecommunication Co. Discloses 45 Percent Hike in Landline to Mobile Call Tariff Cap From September 11

According to Khabaronline, citing ISNA, the Telecommunication Company of Iran (ticker: Akhaber) said in a Codal disclosure published Tuesday, September 9, 2026 (18 Shahrivar 1405), that the tariff cap for landline to mobile phone calls will rise 45 percent from September 11, 2026 (20 Shahrivar 1405), increasing from 625 rials to 906 rials per minute.
The filing said the adjustment follows a directive from the Ministry of Industry, Mine and Trade's commerce development deputy on "adjusting landline to mobile, mobile to mobile and mobile SMS tariffs by 45 percent." The Telecommunication Company of Iran said the financial and revenue impact of the new tariff is not yet known and will be reflected in the company's periodic financial reports based on actual results.
