The Central Bank of Iran put twelve month annual inflation for the period ending in Khordad 1405 (June 2026) at 57.7 percent and point-to-point inflation (versus the same month a year earlier) at 83.1 percent. The urban consumer price index reached 716.6 in Khordad, up 7.4 percent from the prior month. In a separate report, the Statistical Center of Iran estimated point-to-point inflation at 88.6 percent and annual inflation at about 62 percent; the gap between the two bodies reflects differences in method and the goods basket.
