Kalabarg Increase for About 40 Million People: Self-Declaration on my.gov.ir Due by Midnight Tuesday, 21 Mehr

The Plan and Budget Organization announced today, Sunday 11 October 2026 (19 Mehr 1405), that, following the president's instruction to support household livelihoods and within the targeted-subsidy policy, an increase in kalabarg (food coupon) credit is now on the government's agenda for this stage. According to the notice, about 40 million people (about 18 million 300 thousand households) will qualify for the increase once they complete a self-declaration form and file a request.

Heads of eligible households must complete the self-declaration on the national smart-government services portal at my.gov.ir. Registration closes at midnight (24:00) on Tuesday 13 October 2026 (21 Mehr 1405). How requests from household heads seeking a review or update of their information will be handled will be announced through the same system after the first stage is carried out.

The notice, as relayed by Donya-e-Eqtesad, does not state the size of the increase. Earlier reports on the scheme said the decision had been taken but gave no start date; this is the first time a registration deadline has been announced.
