Ahmad Salarifar, director of the National Iranian Oil Products Distribution Company for Kerman province, announced early Thursday, August 13, 2026 (22 Mordad 1405) that implementation of a new refinery price gasoline plan in Kerman, priced at 87,200 tomans and launched only a day earlier, has been temporarily suspended. He said the decision followed the Kerman governor's follow up with national officials, and that until further notice fuel will be sold at the province's stations under the previous method, within the national quota of 110 liters. The suspended plan had also included a provincial quota of 40 extra liters for Kerman residents on top of the national allowance.
