Khodro Mohrekeh Wins Over 20 Percent Gearbox Price Hike From Saipa's SAPCO

Khodro Mohrekeh told Codal it received approval on September 29, 2026 (7 Mehr 1405) from Saipa's parts procurement arm SAPCO for a gearbox price increase of more than 10 percent, lifting the per unit rate from 264,487,851 rials to 319,434,348 rials, a rise of nearly 21 percent.

The company said that, if its annual plan is met, the effect of the price increase on fiscal 1405 operating revenue would total 21,905 billion rials. About 80 percent of the company's operating revenue comes from gearbox sales. The new rate has applied from the start of fiscal 1405, though the company said the exact impact on gross profit cannot yet be precisely estimated given uncertain inflationary effects on raw material costs.
