Kian Financial Group Holding Approves 180 Percent Capital Increase From Retained Earnings
27 August 2026 · last month
The extraordinary general assembly of Kian Financial Group Holding (ticker Kiana) was held on Saturday, 18 Mordad 1405 (August 9, 2026), and approved a capital increase for the company. According to the minutes published on the Codal disclosure system, registered capital will rise from 3,575 billion rials to 10,000 billion rials, a 180 percent increase amounting to 6,425 billion rials.
The minutes state the increase will be funded entirely from retained earnings, not from shareholders' cash contributions or a share premium. Because a capital increase funded from retained earnings does not dilute a shareholder who makes no new cash contribution, this increase effectively amounts to a bonus share distribution to existing holders. The company said the increase will be formally registered with the companies registrar by the time its annual general assembly for the period ending 20 March 2027 is held.
